Sue's obituary
Sue Ann Dancey (Davis), age 77, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2025, in Pinellas Park, Florida. Born on December 31, 1947, in Youngstown, Ohio, Sue lived a rich and full life centered around family, friendship, adventure, and service to others.
Sue worked in the hospitality industry as a waitress, where her warm personality and contagious smile left a lasting impression on everyone she met. A devoted mother of five, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, she poured her heart into caring for those around her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Earl Davis and Betty Jane Davis (née Cutting). She was also preceded in death by Hobart I Lanham and Daniel Dancey, both ex husbands.
She is survived by her five children:

Peggy Atha (David) of McEwen, TN
Loretta Atha of McEwen, TN
Ronald Six Jr. of Anchorage, AK
Tammy Six of Pinellas Park, FL
Also surviving her are 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, as well as her siblings:

Bonnie Watrous of Cleveland, TN

Sue's greatest joy was her family. She supported her children in all their activities, including helping with Girl Scouts when they were young. Sue loved to travel and was always up for an adventure, exploring new places and creating wonderful memories along the way. She had a deep love for the holidays, especially Christmas—she delighted in decorating her home with holiday villages and watching Hallmark movies. She also enjoyed bingo, gambling, and simply spending time with those she loved.
