Sue's obituary
Sue Baer, 83, passed away peacefully at St. Mary's Hospital in Blue Springs, MO, on January 2, 2024. Born on July 20, 1940, Sue lived a life full of fun and an unwavering passion for her cats and all things Disney.
Sue is survived by her devoted daughter, Cynthia Sole, and her son, Kenneth Baer. She was a grandmother to Tracey (Chris) Poll of Barnhart, MO; Christina (Brandon) Weems of Grain Valley, MO; Kyle (Cyndee) Sole of Grain Valley, MO; Mitchell Baer of Murfeesboro, TN; and Cody Baer of Murfeesboro, TN. She also leaves behind a large number of great-grandchildren.
A lifelong Disney enthusiast, her love for Disney was only surpassed by her love for her cats. Sue had a special place in her heart for all animals, but cats held a particular spot. She provided a loving home to many cats throughout her life, each one holding a special place in her heart.
Sue's life was a testament to her kind spirit and her enduring passion for Disney and cats. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Wayside Waif's, 3901 Martha Truman Road, KC, MO 64137.
A private family service will be held to celebrate Sue's life.
