It was a pleasure and a privilege to know him and to spend the last six years with him. He will surely be missed. I'm sorry for your loss and I am deeply saddened by this beyond words. My thoughts and prayers 🙏 😞 go out to you during this unfortunate time. Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you and your family. I'm sorry that this is the way we had to meet but I always viewed Steve as my extended family and I will missed him more than I can put in to words. He truly helped me in ways he never knew and much more then I ever helped him. He will forever be in my ❤

Steven has changed many of our lives and he was a blessing to know and befriend.  He had a beautiful smile and great compassion for his art and coloring. He had brilliant ideas and always was a pleasure to conversate with. He had alot of stories to share that led me to believe he had a great life.  Steven had a great sense of humor and I will miss joking around with him. I can still hear his laugh and lil remarks.  He loved his music as that was great motivation to get him moving.  I know we will all miss singing with him.  He had many struggles and would push through them if you challenged him as he was a strong and brave soul.  Now he is at peace without disabilities and with the Lord.  Steven will always be in my heart. 💜 I hope you enjoy the photos.

Stephen was always so happy, always had a smile. I remember how excited he got making a haunted house in his bedroom with my children,Lori, Tim and Kim when we came to visit.
He is free of all his challenges and resting comfortably now.
Love to you all, aunt Diane

Steve was such a joy and a delight to know and work with. He had a great wry sense of humor and could always make me laugh. I have some wonderful memories of playing Sorry and Uno with him at work, as well as watching movies and just joking around. He was truly a wonderful person to know and the world is a slightly sadder place now that he's not around. Rest in peace, Steve. We'll miss you earthside.
We were and are so very sorry to hear of Steve’s passing. He was a very tough, resilient guy and will be missed. Prayers to his entire family.
Well.. what can I say about Steve? He was one of a kind, that's for sure!! I First met Steve at Bellevue when he got there years ago. He was always in a good mood and eager to do things. I didn't know he did Special Olympics . I coach, so I saw him at a bowling event one time and he saw me and said"You spying on me here too?"Then we started laughing!! He used to say I was spying on him when I would check on him in his room when I did overnights!!🤣 Gonna miss you brotha😪 RIP SUNBIRD!!🦅

It was such a great pleasure getting to know Steven through the Sunbirds team. He always brightened my day when I saw him at track or bowling. He was such a joy to be around and I will surely miss him. My condolences to his family.
Let me win,
But if I cannot win,
Let me be brave
in the attempt.
If this motto applies to anyone it is Steven. I am so happy he was
a Sunbird all these years.

Steven was a sweet soul. He brought much joy to my daughter, Amy. They had some fun dates and lunches together at Eclectic Cafe. There was much laughter coming from their table.  Sometimes they talked on the phone.  Steven will be missed and was loved.

I am so grateful beyond words to have had the opportunity to meet and work with Steven. He was the type of man to light up anyone's day and had a wonderful sense of humor. He had a gentle soul and was pure of heart. He was such a talented and intelligent individual. His smile, laughter, stories, and presence will live on through those of us who had the privilege to be a part of his beautiful life. He will continue to be loved dearly and missed by each and every one of us. I am thanking him truly for the time well spent. ♥️
