Steve’s memories went before him to Heaven. None were lost. Looking forward to a great reunion!

We are deeply saddened to hear about Stevie’s passing. Please know that our hearts are with Carrie, Carol, kids, and the rest of the family during this incredibly difficult time.
Stevie was a special soul whose life touched many people in ways both big and small. Watching someone you love face Alzheimer’s is a long and painful journey, and it takes immense strength and love to walk that road together as a family. Carrie, your devotion and care for Stevie through it all was a beautiful reflection of the bond you shared.
May you find comfort in the memories of the many happy moments you shared with him before illness tried to dim his light. Those memories remain untouched and will always be a part of the story of his life and the love you built together.
Please know that you are surrounded by people who care deeply about you and who are holding you close in their thoughts and prayers.
With heartfelt sympathy and love,
Viki and Aleta

He was an amazing cousin. He was a wonderful man of faith and family. He was playful and he could be serious depending on the situation. He and Carrie would be at every family event no matter what. He loved his family, his whole family wholeheartedly. He will be dearly missed but I take comfort in knowing where he is and who he is with now. I will never forget we were at Carrie and Steve’s apartment when I growing up and I was about 9 years old and my little sister pushed me in the pool and that is when I learned how to swim. I loved how he looked just like his dad my Uncle Chuck especially when he laughed. Love to the whole family.
