Steven "Steve" King, 64, of Mustang, OK, peacefully passed away on November 02, 2022, surrounded by loved ones, after a difficult battle with diabetes.

Steve was born on December 08, 1957, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Paul and Ellen King. From a young age, Steve loved the outdoors. He enjoyed spending time fishing with his dad and camping every year on family vacation. After Steve graduated from Bethany High School, he began working for United Parcel Service. He then had his first daughter, Kristi. In 1987, he met Kimberly, and they married on January 23, 1988. Steve and Kimberly went on to have one daughter, Kaylee. Steve was a hard worker making sure to always provide for his family. Steve was known as THE ultimate Oklahoma Sooners fan of both football and softball. His closet was full of crimson above any other color. Steve was an animal lover, but specifically loved dachshunds. Steve spent his career of almost 40 years working at UPS before retiring. While retired, Steve had time to pursue his love of traveling and taking cruises with his wife and loving on his two grandsons. Steve taught his grandsons to fish and was an avid supporter at their ball games.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Ellen King; and mother-in-law, Deanna Baker. He is survived by his wife, Kimberly King; daughter, Kaylee Mangus and husband Joshua of Newcastle, OK along with grandsons, Logan and Lucas Mangus; daughter, Kristi Lash and husband Jamie of Ft. Worth, TX along with their children, Michael and Avery. He is also survived by his father-in-law, Larry Baker of Pampa, TX; sister, Jan Gushing and husband Fred of Barling, AR; brother, Mike King and wife Terri of Moore, OK; and sister, Becky Hoskins and husband Mitch of Yukon, OK, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and many friends. 

Services will be held at Heritage Family Baptist Church in Tuttle, OK on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at 10 AM. In honor of Steven's favorite color (crimson/red), please wear your favorite OU or red apparel! The family will be receiving family and friends at the King Home on Friday, November 4, 2022, from 6:00-8:00 PM.
