Steven's obituary
Steve was born on June 19, 1942 in Quincy, IL to Raymond Points and Fern Forrest. He attended college at University of IL, University of MO, Quincy University, and got his MBA from Bradley University. He worked for Caterpillar for about 40 years. On August 28, 1965 he married the love of his life, Mary Jo Zwick. They raised 2 children Tiffany and D.A.
Steve had many passions in life, but one of his favorites was cars. He often said that his ideal afternoon would be to take out the convertible, put the top down, and listen to The Beach Boys with his wife, Mary Jo. He was also an avid golfer, and played for many years. Steve will also be fondly remembered for his stellar comedic abilities. He loved to crack a joke and to watch people laugh. May he be remembered as the kind-spirited, caring, man of God that he was.
He is survived by his wife Mary Jo, his two children Tiffany Chorney and D.A. Points, and his five grandchildren Cassidy Chorney, Carson Chorney, Kennedy Chorney, Laila Points, and Charlie Points.
A celebration of life event will be held on April 24th from 4-6pm at the Points residance for friends and family. Any flowers or cards may be sent to 14857 Tullamore Loop, Winter Garden, FL, 34787.
