With deep sorrow, we announce the sudden passing of Steven Arthur Niver on October 25, 2025. Born on October 22, 1958, Steven was a loving father, husband, brother, and friend who loved and cherished his family and friends. His hardworking and loving personality brought immeasurable joy to those who had the privilege of knowing him. He was liked by everyone he met, animals included, and was super outgoing. He loved life and loved the people he had in it!

Steven is survived by his wife, Tina Niver; his children, Stephanie (Adam) Hilton, Brett Niver, Bradley Niver, Alicia (Dustin) Bryant, Caleb (Mariah) Niver, Carlee (Aaron) Heil; along with his siblings Jean (Don) Nichols, John Niver, Jack Niver, Lynda (Don) Hummel, Marilyn Seidner, Mike Niver, Rhonda Terry, and Donna (Mickle) Terry. 

He was predeceased by his parents, Ralph Merle Niver and Eunice Frances Meyers Niver; and his siblings Jane Harkins, Merle Niver, Herbert Niver, Janet Robinson, Phyllis Niver, and Sally Huffman.

A man of great taste, Steven loved the Beach Boys, Charlie Pride, Boston, and Def Leppard. His favorite foods were pizza and lasagna, and he was known to enjoy a good cup of coffee. He enjoyed watching Westerns and weekly episode shows with his wife. His favorite movies were 'Legally Blonde' and 'Hatching Pete'. He was an avid fan of the 49ers and Notre Dame, and enjoyed playing Solitaire and Euchre. His favorite recreational activity was gathering with his family, and he loved vacationing in his home state, Indiana, with his family.

A Celebration of Life for Steven will be held on November 15, 2025, at 2:00 PM at 1437 Great Falls Hwy, Lancaster, SC 29720. We would appreciate if you come and share memories of who Steven was and show just how far his love reached.
