Steven's 46th Birthday - How …

Steven's 46th Birthday - How I Miss Him!!!
Yesterday would have been Steven's 46th birthday - April 19, 2020
I greeted the morning sunrise with a lei and heart in the sand. Later in the afternoon I went swimming and took the lei out into Kailua Bay.
I remember when he lived in Hawaii and one time when we were swimming together I said "one day we'll remember this as the good old days".
This was my sunrise reflection the other day ~ waiting, some day, for the dense clouds to clear my heart. God I miss him.
Mourning ~ Sunrise Reflections
As the sun rises and breaks the horizon, all glistens. Then through the cloud bank I await its splendor, yet the clouds are more powerful, and the sun allows them to cover her face. How can the clouds be more powerful than the sun? How is this so?
I awaited its second rising to be ever brilliant. Yet I wait and wait. Finally, a moment, a piercing light breaks through, a golden lining appears above and I begin to see her rays shooting high, bit by bit she breaks free of the density that hid her glow.
She shined greatly above as swimmers crossed her beam, her glow across the water and reflecting on the sand. As they frolic, a new day begins. A beautiful day.
Happy Birthday, Steve... thinking ofmy friend today and of his family and loved ones.

I just heard this very sad news tonight. I have known Steve since he was a teenager. He was a wonderful person and will be missed deeply. My sincere heartfelt prayers to my brother Billie, Julie and the Murillo family. May God give you strength during this difficult time and always.

Sincerely,

Larry Campos and Family

The news of Steve’s passing was just shared with me, this evening, and I was sent this link. While Steve and I lost touch a couple years after high school, I knew him since the 5th grade, then went to Hale Jr. High and then ECR with him. He was always a good guy and of good humor.

I’m so sorry that he’s passed on and you have my condolences.
