Steve's obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Steven "Steve" Moose, who left us all too soon on July 7, 2023. Born on March 31, 1961, Steve was a man of strength, consistency, and was a steady provider for his family.
Steve is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen Moose, whom he married in 1988. Their bond of love and partnership was evident in their shared joy of raising their four children. The Moose family is completed by their children Victoria, Brandon, Samantha, and Bryanna. Steve was also blessed with a wonderful son-in-law, Matthew Lindly.
In 1993, Steve began a rewarding career at the Sequoia Union High School District, where he impacted many lives. However, his greatest accomplishment, as he often said, was lovingly raising his four children.
Steve was a man of varied tastes. He had an affinity for Dr. Pepper and had an ever-reverent respect for the Holy Bible. His favorite movie was Pinocchio, and he found joy in playing the game Mille Bornes. Steve thoroughly enjoyed watching his daughter Bryanna's Nutcracker performances. His love for family was also evident in him favoring family vacations to Disneyland.
Steve always encouraged those around him to put family first, a principle he lived by every day. His legacy is one of love, care, and undying devotion to his family. The lessons he imparted and the principles he lived by will continue to influence and guide his family.
A Celebration of Steve's life will be held on August 26, 2023 at the First Baptist Church-San Mateo. We invite everyone touched by Steve's life to join us in honoring his memory in a place he held dear.
In lieu of flowers, we request that funds be donated to help with medical and funeral expenses at the following URL: https://everloved.com/life-of….
While we mourn the loss of Steve, we also celebrate his life and the love he had for his family. The void he has left behind can never be filled, but his memory will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew him.
