A year gone by today... When I try to write something to tell you we miss your butt, the words won't come out in black and white. They get disjointed and convoluted... they melt into nonsense, much like most our lives have been.

I wanted to say something touching and deep, but everything just comes out broken on the paper.

On the stroke of midnight I was reminded of the powers of words...and reminded that being loved by somebody, no matter the flaws, the distance or circumstances... reminded how much knowning that can mean to someone.

What a difference that can make...

I wish I could share that with you...
