It is with deep sorrow that we announce the loss of Steven Mecklenburg, born on January 31, 1968, and tragically departed from us on November 5, 2025 Despite his short time on Earth, his spirit and memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

Steve was born in Fond du Lac Wi went to school at Horace Mann High school. Steve has worked in Quarries ,Mercury Marine, and other fork lifting jobs.

Steve's heart was in nature, fishing hiking in the woods with his partner in life Kim, and of course his dog. He liked sitting by a fire in his back yard, he loved playing jokes and goofing off. He loved his daughter with all his heart. We're going to miss him.

Steven is survived by his sister, Lori Mecklenburg, brother Scott Mecklenburg, step father James Laudolff, daughter Mickayla Mecklenburg, nephew Zackary Mecklenburg,  his partner in life Kim , Aunt Ruth Zimmerman,  Uncle, James Tasch, Aunt and Uncle, Kenny and Gerry Walker, Uncle James Mecklenburg Aunt Mary Watt, and other nieces and nephews many many cousins on both sides.

May Steven's life be a touching reminder of the fleeting nature of life, and let us cherish every moment. Rest in peace Steve we love you and will miss you.

Funeral arrangements are December 1 2025 at 1 00 pm.  It will be at St Pauls Lutheran church in North Fond du Lac wi.
