With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Steven Ray McKinney Jr., 32, of San Antonio, Texas, who departed this world on March 28, 2025.

Steven was a loving husband, devoted father, cherished son, and loyal friend. His kind spirit, infectious smile, and unwavering generosity touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He was known for his quirky sense of humor, his dependable nature, and above all, the deep love he had for his family.

Steven worked as an assistant project manager and pipe fitter for TCS, where his dedication and hard work left a lasting impact. However, his greatest joy in life was his family. He was a wonderful dad to his three children—Jeremiah, Merritt, and Natalie—who were the light of his life. He shared an unbreakable bond with his wife, Ivy, and was a source of strength and support to his loved ones.

He is survived by his wife, Ivy; his children, Jeremiah, Merritt, and Natalie; his mother, Maria Griffith; his father, Steven McKinney; and his siblings, Brittany Muniz, Shawn McKinney, Benito Renteria, Laura Renteria, Nicolas Renteria, Rebekah Renteria, and Danielle McKinney. His love and presence will be profoundly missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

Steven’s legacy is one of kindness, love, and unwavering dedication to his family and friends. His laughter and warmth will never be forgotten.
