One day a few years ago, Steve took the time to look at and give me advice about an old furnace. I was touched by his generosity and kindness in helping me with something that was hard for me. His loving values continue to show up through his family and I believe the world is a better place having had him in it.
I basically knew Steve through Bill Weinberg. In the many times we met i always enjoyed talking to him and finding out what was happening in his life at the time. He was a wonderful person who will be missed.
Wish we had known "Cowboy" Steve. He seemed like quite a guy and a person who marched to the beat of his own personal drummer. May you rest in peace.

I am so sorry for your loss. Steve and I went to Wheatley High together …memories include his kindness and positive spirit. May he always be remembered and rest in peace 🙏🏽⭐️
James and I are fortunate to have spent time with Steve, not as much as we would have liked, but happy for what we had. Steve was a kind and supportive family man. His guidance of his loved ones shows in the kind and gentle way his children show up in the world. I look forward to meeting him again in the next phase of our existence...
I so sorry to hear about Steve’s passing. Steve  chose me to buy his horse Tucker, who has been one of the best horses I have ever had. Steve’s love of animals and impeccable care has shown through with Tucker. I am forever grateful to Steve for this.

We have very fond memories from when Roz and David were getting ready for their wedding. Steve made the Chuppah and the mileage signs of where the guests were coming from. Arthur & I really got to know Steve during the wedding preparations.
Our love and thoughts are with you all.
Steve was a wonderful person, and we are so happy we got to see him at the wedding.

It is with a sad heart I write this note . The Perez Clan loved Steve and will forever have wonderful memories of camping at Camp Mather, going to Puerto Vallarta and lots of parties together. Steve was a funny and quick to comeback with a line or two. A loving friend to our girls and Fred and I. Our heart felt sympathy goes out to the family . Bette Fred Sarah and Simone

My most pleasurable memories of Steve or of him playing with his grandchildren. He was very good with them.
But my most powerful memories of Steve, or of his generosity and his self-honesty.
I will miss him greatly. Michael
Sending love and healing to Alexis,Roz,&Kate; and to all those folks who loved and cherished Steve. He will be dearly missed but always cherished.
Though I didn't get to see my Uncle Steve a lot growing up on the other coast, I've always felt a close connection with him.  Skinny, quiet, and a special relationship with animals describes us both well.  I'll miss him dearly.  Love you Uncle Steve.
I am so sorry for your loss.  I feel so blessed that I got to spend time with your dad at the Litzky wedding.   He was such a loving dad and papa bursting with love as he showed me pictures of all the grandkids❤️!  It was also so wonderful getting to meet each of you! ❤️

I am so glad to have had several phone conversations with Steve in the past few months talking about horses and cancer and life. I met Steve about 1996 riding horses in Penngrove. I hope Steve has found his dream horse to ride in his afterlife.
I knew Steve thru the cutting horse world and he and Pearl would come and visit us at our shop in Ione. I enjoyed listening to Steve and his hunt for a horse. My dog Duke enjoyed Pearl. We are so sorry to hear of his passing. He was a good guy.
