Steven's obituary

It is with the utmost sadness that we have to report the passing of our beloved Steven Eugene Levitre, on July 20, 2022 after battling many illnesses brought on as a result of his paraplegia.  Steven was 60 and was surrounded by loving family members when he passed.

Steven was born to Barbara Ann Banks and Leo Levitre on May 31, 1962 in Long Beach, California. He grew up in the San Fernando Valley, CA and was trained as an electrician by his father.  He was by all reports a bit of a rebel and he lived his life on his own terms. As an adult, he became  passionate about sharing the love of our Lord with others.  A loyal servant to God, Steven spent many of his hours dedicating his life to his faith.
Now that Steven has passed into the arms of our Lord, we should remind ourselves that while this is the end of Steven’s physical life on Earth, it’s the beginning of an eternal and beautiful journey for him.

Steven joins both his parents, his stepfather, 2 half sisters, 2 half brothers, his first wife, Dawn and his beloved son Johnny in Heaven. He is survived by many loving family members, including his wife, Traci, her sons Matthew and Josh and his new mom, Patti. His daughter Crystal Cass, her husband William Cass IV, his grand children  Nolan, Brooklyn, William V, and Briella Cass. His daughter Shauntel Means, her husband Steven Means , his grandchildren Luke and Taya Means. His second wife Tracy Conine, his daughter Amanda Levitre, Abraham Davis, his grandchildren Mason and Mariah Davis. His daughter Mary Levitre, his grandchildren Harley, Madison, Hayden, and Emma. His third wife Darlene Bishop, his daughter Jessica Scott, her husband Jordan Scott, his grandson Winston Scott. His brother Michael Levitre and his wife Martha, his nephew Dylan Levitre and wife Paola and their daughter Hailey. And several more nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The sun shall no longer be your light by day, Nor for brightness shall the moon give light to you;  But the Lord will be to you an everlasting light,     And your God your glory.   Your  sun shall no longer go down, Nor shall your moon withdraw itself;  For the Lord will be your everlasting light,       And the days of your mourning shall be ended.
