Just heard of Steve's passing. My condolences to his family. Steve was a very funny, witty guy. I think my sister Dava had a crush on him in those younger years. Along with Carl Wesson and Jeff McMahon, we all grew up together in the same neighborhood often over at each other's houses. Those were good times. You will be missed old friend.
To Steve’s family and friends, please accept my belated but nonetheless heartfelt condolences. My heart breaks for your loss. I first met and worked with Steve at the B Dalton Willowbrook store. Some years later, I was his assistant manager at the Willowbrook location of Bookstop, and then the Barnes & Noble at Champions. Steve always led with kindness, making it a pleasure to work for him. He was so sensitive to the needs of others and I treasured his friendship away from work as well. His death is a loss to all who knew and loved him.

My condolences to Steve's family. I first met Steve when we worked together at Barnes and Noble. He was a wonderful boss. I miss his camaraderie and his bright smile.
