Our beloved brother, son, uncle and friend Ben (Steven) passed away unexpectedly in Alameda, California on October 2, 2025. Steven Benjamin Greer was born on December 17, 1979 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was the oldest of four children. He was known as Ben to most of his family and Steven to many others.

As a teenager, Ben had a knack for computers and was a quick learner. He was kind, loving, made friends easily, and was the funniest person in the room. He was able to connect and build community wherever he lived. During his adult life, he lived in Arizona, Boston, and the Bay Area. He was an incredible athlete and had a passion for tennis. He loved the outdoors--an avid hiker, fantastic skier, and being on the water.

He is survived by his girlfriend, Brionna; mother, Rayanne; father, Steve (Carolyn); and three siblings Greg (Courtney), Mike (Tammy) and Annie. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
