Steven's obituary
Steven Doolittle, 43 years young, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, passed away leaving a legacy of love, faith, resilience, and devotion to his family. He was the cherished husband of Veronica Doolittle and the proud father of Austin (Ryan) Doolittle, Logan Doolittle, Hannah Doolittle, and Ethan Doolittle.
Steve found immense joy in his grandchildren—Cheron, Nova, Jasper, and Jett—each of whom brought light and laughter into his life. His deep love for his children and grandchildren was unwavering, and he carried that love with him through every chapter of his journey.
Steve’s life was firmly rooted in his faith. He loved God with all his heart and lived in a way that reflected that love. He strived daily to be more like Jesus, leading with compassion, humility, and a selfless heart. He was the kind of man who would do everything in his power to help anyone in need—family, friend, or stranger. His faith wasn’t just a belief—it was how he lived.
Steven is also survived by his devoted siblings: Paula (Frank) Hanzl, Jeanette (John) Scott, Katrina (Howard) Pemberton, Deiona Oursler, Jacqueline (Tim) Casey, Jon Doolittle, David (Kim) Doolittle, and Todd (Jennifer) Doolittle, along with 29 nieces and nephews who knew him as a man of kindness, strength, and humor.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Shelby-Jean Doolittle, his brother Darryl Doolittle, and his nephew Adam Doolittle. Their memories live on in the stories shared by those who loved them.
Steve was a man of complexity and heart. He loved fiercely and deeply. Though he faced struggles and wrestled with life’s challenges, his faith never wavered. He was a devoted presence in the lives of those he loved. His laughter, his generous spirit, and his enduring love will be remembered always.
A memorial service will be held to celebrate Steve’s life, where stories and memories will be shared by those who knew him best. His presence will be missed, but his spirit will live on in every life he touched
