Steven's obituary
In Loving Memory of Steven Darryl Anthony Joseph
May 29, 1983 – September 23, 2025
Steven, known to many as Tony, was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend. Born in Newark, New Jersey, and later settling in Atlanta, he built a life filled with love, laughter, and dedication.
During his more than a decade of work with Comcast, people knew him for his loyalty and strong work ethic. Outside of work, Tony poured himself into his passions—capturing moments through Beard and Bow Tie Photography, cheering for his Giants and Knicks, and staying active through basketball, workouts, and traveling the world. Before moving to Atlanta Tony was a member of a motorcycle club, Made Men MC Inc, in Newark, NJ. As a motorcycle enthusiast, Tony spent plenty of weekends riding through the city and working on his bike.
Above all, Tony’s greatest joy was his family. He met his wife, Alexandra, in 2012, and together they raised their daughters, Alexa and Avery, who were the center of his world. He was present for every milestone: recitals, swim meets, family trips, and loved sharing his passions with them. From flying drones with Alexa to making Avery laugh as a crab followed him along the beach before latching onto his toe, Tony created memories his wife and daughters will cherish forever.
His humor, kindness, and gift for brightening every gathering will be remembered - whether he was dancing, engaging in spirited conversations, or trying his hand at DJ-ing at parties. Whether behind a camera, debating with friends, or setting the vibe at a party, Tony’s generosity and joy reached far beyond his family, leaving memories that live on in every community he was part of.
Tony is survived by his wife Alexandra, daughters Alexa and Avery, parents Darryl Miller and Jacqueline Joseph, stepfather Aaron Forté, stepmother Yvette Miller, siblings Lamar and Lamell Rivers and Aaron Lorenz Forté, and grandparents Herman and Gwendolyn Joseph and Sarah Miller. In addition to his immediate family, Tony will be dearly missed by his brothers of Made Men MC Inc. and his Atlanta friends who also viewed Tony as a brother.
Tony's legacy is one of love, laughter, and devotion. His spirit will live on in every laugh he sparked, every memory he created, and every life he made brighter.
