Steven's obituary

Steven Andrew Czupka, 69, of Fullerton, CA, passed away Thursday, August 1, 2024 at home.

Steve was born in Moline, IL. April 15, 1955, the eldest child of Nancy and Ernest Czupka.

Steve is survived by his ex-wife Vicky Czupka, son Evan and daughter Rachel, his siblings Ron (Martha), Ted (Patti), Jean Oshima, Kathie Hohns (Bill), Martin, Christine Green and Michele Scott (Frank), and several nieces and nephews.

Steve was very athletic, playing baseball, softball and basketball, but his real passion was golf. When he wasn't playing, he was reading about it, watching it, talking about it or teaching it. He didn't brag about it, but Steve was an exceptional golfer who had recorded 17 holes in one during his life. He also enjoyed reading and playing chess.

Steve spent the last 3 1/2 years of his life living sober, being of service in Alcoholics Anonymous and helping new people find sobriety.

A Memorial/Celebration of Life service will be held Sunday, August 25th from 11:30am-1:30pm at the Alano Club of Garden Grove at 9845 Belfast Dr., Garden Grove, CA. 92844 

Donations in Steve's name to the Alano Club of Garden Grove at 9845 Belfast Dr., Garden Grove, CA. 92844 will be graciously accepted.
