My Dad was always one for making the best out of any situation.  On the way back from visiting my Mom's family in Mexico we stopped off in Redondo Beach to visit my Uncle Ruben.  Unfortunately, the car broke down and we couldn't continue our trip home until a part arrived on Monday.  Seeing as how we were in the LA area, my Dad began the first of what would become the Annual Boys Football Weekend.  We found tickets to the Raiders vs Patriots game and attended a game for the very first time.  We met Lyle Alzado that day, who was working on a comeback the following year.  We met a promising rookie rehabbing an injury named Tim Brown.  It was the very best experience with my Dad, brother, and Uncle Rube!
