Steven's obituary

It is with broken hearts that we share the news of Steve’s passing. He was a beloved father, husband, brother, uncle and friend. Steve loved adventures and expressing his creativity blowing glass. While we wish he had more time with us, we would like to think of him on a road trip, snorkeling, riding horses, white water kayaking, bungee jumping, skydiving or blowing glass.
He was a warrior in much of life, including his fight against leukemia; impressing all with his strength and determination during treatment.
We wish to express our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Senecal, one of the genuinely kindest humans on the planet; St. Joe’s Infusion (David, Morgan, Constance) and Seattle Cancer Care for the care, kindness and support they gave to Steve during his cancer treatment.
Since we are restricted by COVID from holding an in-person gathering at this time, we are doing this online memorial. When the gathering restrictions are lifted, we will announce a celebration of life at Area 253 Glass Blowing.
In lieu of flowers, the family would request donations can be made to Seattle Cancer Care, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society or Be The Match. These organizations were hugely helpful in supporting Steve during his cancer treatment.
