Steve's obituary

Steve Marcus Suire, aged 65, passed away on October 31, 2024, in Yarmouth, Maine. Born on October 19, 1959, Steve was known for his humorous, loving, and helpful nature, traits that endeared him to everyone he met.

Steve spent his professional life on the road as a long-haul trucker, a career that suited his love for travel and adventure. Away from work, he was passionate about gardening, hunting, fishing, and four-wheeling. Most of all, Steve cherished spending time with his family and friends, creating lasting memories with every encounter.

Steve is survived by his loving wife, Carla Suire; daughters, Stacey Sinclair and her husband Nikolas and Samantha Bragdon; sons, Michael Suire and his partner Diane Moseley and Joshua Bragdon and stepson, Michael Withem and his wife Crystal and at last count 10 adored grandchildren. He also leaves behind his sisters, Sharon Adams and husband Dan, Sabrina and partner Harry, Sandy Suire and partner Dennis, Sundee Perry and husband Randy, Belinda Hair and husband Andy, and Bonnie White and husband David; and his brother, Daniel Suire and wife Debra. He also leaves behind sisters-in-law, Crystal Leeman, Coral Gerrish-Deaver (Richard), Monica Marcum (Henry), Roberta Bodwell (Willam II), Cindy Smith (Gary)and Shanna McNeil (Eric) and brothers-in-law, Wayne Cook (Debbie), Ryan Cook (Sharon) and Frank Anderson (Brandie) and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Alpha and Sylvia (Greenier) Suire, and his son, Robert Suire. In keeping with Steve's wishes, there will be no traditional funeral service.

A celebration of life will be held in June 2025, where friends and family will gather to honor his memory with love and laughter.
