It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Steve Sawyers, age 65, who died on September 3, 2025.

Steve was born on October 15, 1959, to Connor and Taylor Sawyers (née Kohann). He was a cherished member of his community and will be remembered for his kindness, humility, and quiet strength.

Steve was a man of quiet character and steady principles. Polite and thoughtful, he carried himself with dignity and treated others with genuine respect. Though reserved, he left a strong impression on everyone he met. He lived his life with care and compassion, always putting others before himself.

His proudest role was being a father to his daughter, Lisa. His love for her was at the center of everything he did. His guidance, grounded in years of experience, offered comfort and wisdom to many. Above all, he valued love—a lesson he passed on through example rather than words.

Steve’s life reflected perseverance and dedication. He faced challenges with resilience and maintained his values throughout. His legacy is one of quiet strength, hard work, and unwavering commitment to those he cared about.

He is survived by his siblings Liam, Ian, Paula, and Kyle, who mourn his passing deeply. Steve will be missed by all who knew him, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those he loved.
