Steven's obituary

Steve White, 69, of Wesley Chapel, FL, passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Miriam White; and his brother, Thomas Barrett.

Steve retired from the information technology industry where he was the Executive Vice President of a large Insurance Company in the greater NYC area.

In his spare time, Steve was an accomplished private pilot, he enjoyed spending time with his grandsons and traveling with his family. He was also an active member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) and Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA). He loved working with the members of the Young Eagles program where he was a highly respected mentor and teacher to aspiring young pilots.

He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather and will be greatly missed.

Steve is survived by his wife of 48 years, Anna White; son, Michael White (Lena); daughter, Noelle Williams (Sam); grandsons Sean, Brayden, Nathan, and Declan White; and Connor and Mason Williams; sisters Roberta Sasek (Dick), and Midge D’Ascoli.

At his request, no funeral service will be held, however, the family will receive friends and loved ones for celebration of life ceremonies at a later date.
