I think this pic came from me. It was at Oscar Store. Such a handsome man! I miss him already!!!

One of the last weekends, he called me on a Thursday to say he knew he finally wanted to come to San Antonio - he hadn't for a while because he hadn't been feeling good. He knew Bobbie and Billy were visiting Keith and Rocky. Lane picked him up, got him here late Friday. Saturday morning he decided that he wanted to go to the Kings Inn (Seafood in the middle of nowhere) a restaurant he'd been talking to Jen and I about for the last couple of years. He wanted to go so bad, but stuff kept preventing it. So, we loaded up and we drove the 2.5 hours past Kingsville. It ended up being family style, we caught them in between meals and short-staffed. It really was sort of a bust, but he was so happy that he'd finally got to go. He ate the whole plate of oysters, nobody else would even touch them. They brought out our $30 pound of shrimp that included 9 fried shrimp (Lane almost fainted). We ended up coming home, the next morning he spent all day at Rocky and Keith's talking, hanging out, and teasing each other about stories growing up.  It was the first day he'd not napped in so long. Once he got home he kept telling us how much fun the day (and weekend) had been. When he'd originally called to say he wanted to come down to SATX, he'd said he figured there wouldn't be that many more chances for the three guys to hangout. It ended up being their last. We're so glad he went, and so glad that the whole weekend ended up being so much fun for him.
