Steven Earl Jones was born in Richmond, California, on December 13, 1956. He was the second of four children to Wilbert James Jones and Annie Jewel Jones. He married the love of his life, Sabina Lacy, on April 15, 1978, in Oakland, California. Their union was blessed with two children: Brandy Shantel and Lamar Rashad.

Steven, affectionately known as Steve, began working for PG&E in 1977 and dedicated 44 years of service to the company. …
