Steve's obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Steve Fitting, a beloved brother and uncle, who was born on December 10, 1965, and died on March 2, 2024. Steve was a compassionate family man and a loyal friend whose captivating personality and ebullient spirit touched the lives of those around him.
Steve is survived by his sisters, Jennifer Quadracci, Tessa Hudson, and Rebecca Fitting. He also leaves behind his cherished niece, Nichole Hudson, and nephew, Shayne Hudson. His surviving brother-in-law is John Quadracci. Steve was predeceased by his parents, John W Fitting and Ruth Anne Fitting; his sister, Johneel Robblee; and his brothers-in-law, Robert Hudson, and Phil Robblee.
A man of varied tastes and interests, Steve was a fan of Westerns, both on television and on the big screen. He fervently supported the Seattle Seahawks and took pride in his love for the outdoors, where his favorite hobbies were fishing and hunting. The tranquility of Lake Cushman was his favorite vacation spot. His musical taste led him to be an ardent Elvis enthusiast.
Steve had a strong sense of patriotism, which was reflected in his causes and his service to his country. He was stationed in Germany during his tenure with the Army. His commitment to the Army was a testament to his unyielding devotion to duty and bravery.
In honor of Steve's memory, we remind those who knew him to celebrate his life and remember the joys he brought to his loved ones. His radiant smile, generous spirit, and dedicated service will forever be remembered.
