Steve Fike "Pops"

Steve Fike, age 70, passed away March 27, 2024 at his home in Mesa, AZ.

Steve was born March 4, 1954 in Dixon, IL and grew up in Rochelle, IL. Steve was the son of late Ernest Fike and Betty Fike. He has been proceeded in death by his wife Janet Fike, brother Allen Fike, brother David Fike as well as his parents.

Steve was one of the best painters in the industry and always a very inventive handyman. He enjoyed watching all sports but especially loved The Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Bears. "Da Bears," and he had the mustache to prove it. Steve always appreciated time with friends and family and stayed connected with his good friends. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Steve's friends and neighbors Janet and Ray for always being so helpful, thoughtful, and kind.

Steve is survived by his son Scott Fike (Daphne Fike), daughter Erica Felker (Sam Felker) and his grandchildren, Lex and Ruby Felker and Travis Burton. Steve is also survived by his sisters Brenda Humphrey (Ray Humphrey), Diana Arntzen (Steve Arntzen) and his sweet Labrador Daisy.

Services have not been planned but family and friends in Arizona and Illinois want to celebrate Steve's life and will plan something soon.
