>Steve Cates, 71, of Henderson, NV, passed away on November 17, 2025 .

>Steve was born on April 16,1954 to Jenny and Micheal cates in Crossville ,Tn. Steve was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to his than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was unendingly proud of Alisha Willis , Sherina Nichols, and Joe Cates and always tried his best to support them.


>Steve was also a passionate fisherman and could often be found on the lake when he wasn’t at home.


>Anyone who knew Steve knew that he was the most loving father and husband a family could ask for. Steve was predeceased by his mother Jenny cates father Micheal cates and son lance corporal Steven Charles Tyler cates and is survived by his wife Denine Cates of 45 years daughter Alisha Willis ,daughter Sherina Nichols son Joe Cates and grandchildren Kylie Cates , Justin Willis, Evie Parks, Madison Parks. Great grandchildren Evelyn fathers , Everett Fathera
