Steve's obituary

Stephen Seidl

December 26, 1961 – April 16, 2025

Stephen Seidl passed away on April 16, 2025, at the age of 63 after a hard-fought battle with cancer. He lived life on his own terms, finding happiness in the simple things—being outside, fishing, hunting, road-tripping, eating lobster at his favorite spot in Islesboro, or just relaxing by the beach.

Steve was known for his humor, loyal heart, and deep love for his family. He is survived by his sister, Rosemary, and her husband Tom; his brothers, Gordon Mike, and Kevin; his sister-in-law Donna; his nieces and nephews whom he loved like his own, Allison, and her fiancé Dave, Stephanie, Tracie, Brian, and his wife Robyn, Stacie, Katie, Meghan, Mallory and her husband Steven, Robert and his wife Stephanie, Kevin Jr, Tom Jr, Kim, and her husband Mark, Eric, and his wife Sharon, James, Michelle, and Richard; plus many great-nieces and nephews who always brought a smile to his face.

He also leaves behind Stark, his loyal companion and best boy, who rarely left his side.

Stephen was preceded in death by his mother, Eva; his father, Ed; his brothers Ronnie, Barry, Jimmy, Ed and Charles; and his nephew Michael.

His absence leaves a space that can’t be filled, but his memory will live on in the stories shared by those who loved him.
