Stephen Rothman was born in the Bronx, New York in 1944. He was a graduate of Dewitt Clinton High School, class of 1961. He started his postsecondary education at Hunter College, ultimately graduating from Farleigh Dickenson University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Chemistry in 1967. He returned to Fairleigh Dickinson, earning a Masters in Business Administration in 1975.
