Stephen is survived by his loving wife Jessica Crawford, his father David Letourneau, his mother, Virginia Keffer and stepfather Rick Keffer, siblings Emily, Katie, Natalie, Jeffrey Letourneau and Rachel Keffer, mother in law, Dawn (John) Bailey of LeRoy, sisters in law, Julie (Steve) Rohn of NJ, Jamie Crawford of LeRoy, brother in law, Daniel Crawford of Mt. Morris, Grandpa Vaughan (Eleanor) Taylor, Lori Wilson and family, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his father in law, John Crawford, his grandparents Alvin (Helen) Letourneau, Allen Otis (Lillian Joan Wismer) Haskins, and Carl (Ellen Rose) Keffer and his cousin Ashley Letourneau.
Stephen was an amateur comedian, chef and actor and a man of God. He was an old time soul with the heart of a child. As a child he loved the soulful blues of Elvis Presley and carried a love of Woody Woodpecker, Bugs Bunny and Animaniacs into adulthood. Even as a child he was passionate about sharing the word of God, deciding early on that he wanted to be a pastor. After graduating from West Credit Secondary School with honours, he took several college and university courses, studying cooking and theology. Stephen was a kind and generous soul who loved to help those in need. He loved to laugh and make other people laugh (or roll their eyes). He wrote often about his faith in order to encourage others to pursue a relationship with God.
The celebration of life will take place at Burnhamthorpe Community Centre in Mississauga, Ontario on Feb. 3/2024 at 2:15. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Sick Kids Hospital, where Stephen spent time as a child.
