Stephen Newton Johnson, 84, passed away on December 1, 2023, in Tulsa, OK. Born on May 10, 1939, in Miami, Arizona, he was affectionately known to his friends and family as Steve.

Steve dedicated his life to his faith as a devout Christian, instilling his beliefs and the love of Christ into his family. His sense of humor and love for music brought joy and laughter to those around him. Steve was not only a family man but also a beloved mailman, a role that allowed him to touch the lives of many in his community with his kindness and dependability.

In his leisure time, Steve had a passion for history and geology, often found collecting rocks and minerals and teaching anyone who would listen about the topics. His love for yard sales was well-known among his family and friends, always on the lookout for a hidden treasure.

Steve is survived by his beloved daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren, Cryselda, Bettina, Marion, Lee, Tiana, Toby, Aden and Chelsea. He was preceded in death by his mother, Bettina Johnson (Sutherland); father, Newton Johnson; wife, Marion Johnson (Ross); and daughter, Jennifer.

Steve's life was a testament to his enduring love for his family and the natural beauty of God's creations, reflected in his vibrant choice of attire, favoring brightly colored shirts that mirrored his spirited personality. His legacy of faith, love, and humor will be cherished and remembered by all who knew and loved him.
