Stephen's obituary

Stephen Gerald Heering was born on April 23, 1970 in Houston, Texas. Stephen was called to heaven on June 24, 2024. Stephen was an easy going, loving, and caring child who loved to take anything apart and put it back together. Stephen never knew a stranger from an early age. After high school, Stephen attended Texas State Technical Institute where he received his diesel mechanic license. Stephen worked at Texas Star Propane where he was known for his hard work and friendly disposition.

Stephen met his wife, Amanda, in 2018. Stephen and Amanda were married on May 30, 2020 surrounded by their friends and family. They welcomed their daughter, Kennedi Jo Heering, on January 13, 2021. Stephen was a devoted husband and father who loved his family more than anything. Stephen and Amanda loved to spend quality time together at the gun range, ride on Stephen’s motorcycle, and dancing. Stephen was known by his family as a dedicated husband, caring father, amazing son, the best brother, and wonderful grandfather.

Stephen was preceded in death by his grandparents Calvin and Alice Russell, Wes and Marguery Williams, uncles David Russell and Doug Heering, and aunt Juli Heering.
