Stephen Lewis Hare, was born May 24, 1949 to Jack & Betty Hare. Steve passed away July 19, 2024 at the age of 75 years. He lived his entire life in the Kansas City area except for a short time in Chicago, 1970-71. Golfing and bowling were two of his favorite pass times. He was an avid Chiefs and Royals fan. He loved his family and enjoyed the company of many friends throughout the years.

Steve spent much of his early working career in the restaurant industry. In 1976 he opened a car clean up and detail shop which he sold in 1979. He opened a flooring installation business in 1980 and retired in 2011.

He is survived by his two daughters: Michele Diane (Hare) Stoway and Carley Lyn Hare; and four grandchildren: Brandon Michael Stoway, Abigail Renee Stoway, Kaleah Renee Hare, Bronx Ali Gadson.
