Stephen's obituary

Stephen G Fisher, 86, passed away on November 26, 2022 in Yorba Linda, CA

Steve leaves behind two children, Steve and Susan, son-in-law, John, two step-sons, Troy and Bert, daughters in law, Dana and Christina , his sister , Shirley Kunsaitis,  sister-in-law, Marline Hughes,  as well as seven grandchildren, one great grandchild and  many friends who join in mourning his passing.

Steve lived his entire life in  Southern California and the past 50 years in Orange County. He worked as a senior accountant and chief financial officer for 34 years at a corporation that began as Autonetics, then Rockwell, before eventually being absorbed by Boeing.  He retired from the Boeing Semi-Conductor Products division in 1991 at age 57.  He and his wife, Ursie took full advantage of his early retirement and traveled extensively across the country at RV rallies and Nascar events and enjoyed travel around the world golfing, scuba diving and cruising to exotic destinations including China, Ireland, Europe, Caribbean, Bahamas and Australia as well as visiting their time share/condos in Mammoth, Hawaii, and Mexico.

Steve was always very active.  In fact, it was post divorce when he took up playing volleyball and that he met his second wife Ursie.  Together they enjoyed playing tennis, volleyball, snow skiing, dirt motorcycle riding, boating, riding personal watercraft, backpacking, and camping.  A stroke in 2013 slowed him down but did not stop them from traveling and enjoying their RV.  Following Ursie's death in 2020, Steve enjoyed more time with his daughter and  his caretaker-companion, Lisa, and enjoyed visits to the park to walk his dog, Lucy, and people watch.  He especially liked watching the kids play baseball.

Steve leaves behind a great legacy and will be dearly missed by family and friends.
