Stephen P. Davies, 71, passed away Monday, May 13, 2024 in Spring, Texas. He was born on August 7, 1952 in Houston, Texas to Philip and Monte Davies. Stephen grew up in Houston, graduating from St. Thomas High School and attending Texas A&M (TAMU).  The greatest love of his life was his wife and soulmate, Lyn, married 37 years. He loved writing, exploring family history, Spiderman and the Corp of Cadets at TAMU of which he was a member for four years. Stephen had a passion for reading, especially science fiction, and created a beautiful library for his myriad of books and favorite reading chair. Blessed with an amazing intellect and boundless curiosity, he was always and everywhere his own person. He embraced his illness with calm and courage serving as an inspiration to his family, friends and caregivers alike. He was preceded in death by his father, Phil, and his sister, Julie. Stephen is survived by Lyn Davies, his children Jason (Adrianne), Philip (Xin), Megan and his grandchildren Finn, Rynmund, Maeve, Shinkai, and May Lyn. His sibling include his brother, John (Roxanne) and sisters, Kay Ellen, Jean (Robert)and Leah and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. A celebration of Stephen’s life is planned for a later date.
