I worked with Stephen both on LHC-9 and also recently on FS-2. I saw in his obituary that is stated he was a respected metallurgical engineering which I 100% agree with.  I not only respected Stephen because of his technical knowledge but also because he was a super teammate. I know he was pulled in 1,000 directions across the company, but he always made time to share his knowledge for my projects and to do his part (not easy). With Stephens' travels and mine also (I'm currently at Fluor in Manila), we rarely were in the same room, but I know from virtual meetings he was thrilled to be a Grandfather and loved all of his family.  He'll be missed within Dow and I'm certain he will be missed much more outside of Dow.

It was always such a joy to have Amy and Stephen text me “At the light” to be bringing me “Sig” for private cat boarding. They were always going somewhere together 😂 Such an adventurous couple. We made plans to go to Cancun with them on several occasions, but who would keep Sig?? I saw Steven days before the accident, as he picked Sig up from boarding. Conversation was sweet as always, but I never thought that that would be the last.💔
