I'm not sure how long I have known Bugbee but it's gotta be 20 years I would guess? I was so sorry to hear about Bugbee's passing. He was such a fun and nice guy. He loved Steph so much, and rightfully so. They were perfect for each other. I will miss him greatly, as I'm sure everyone will.
RIP my friend.

Although saddened by the loss of a great human, I will celebrate your life. My thoughts and prayers are with Steph and all of the family and friends who loved this great man so much.

Met Bugbee at an industry event in 2006 at the Diplomat in FL. He took me under his wing and over the next 17 years we developed a close friendship, a brotherhood. Bugs was the type of dude that was caring, humble and always authentic. He and I would say we loved each other, just like family did. Man that felt good and we meant it. Words can't describe what an amazing human-being he was. The only time I saw him get upset was if he was having a bad round on the golf course, and even then it was barely noticeable.
Bugs and Steph met my now wife (Cole), well before she was my wife. She adored them both and they loved her back unconditionally. They watched us grow as a couple, get married and eventually build our family of 4 kiddos and dog. Granted much of this watching was over social media, but any opportunity we got to spend time together, we made it happen. I have so many great memories that I hold close to my heart.
Stephen Bugbee, you will travel with me on every round of golf I play. I will honor your friendship and cherish the time we had together. I know you are probably driving a golf cart in heaven and playing all the finest courses as I write this, looking down on all of us with that beautiful smile of yours. Thank you for being you my brother. You will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. Love you.
