Stephen's obituary

Stephen L. Beller, 72, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2019. Stephen was born July 17, 1947 in Los Angeles, California to the late Merl and Estelle (Ward) Beller. He grew up in the communities of Norwalk, California and Buckeye, Arizona. Stephen settled in Black Canyon City, Arizona in 1970 where he remained until his death. Stephen became an accomplished welder at Precise Metal Products in Phoenix, Arizona where he was employed, until retirement, working in sheet metal fabrication and machined components for aerospace and power generation. Stephen is best described as hardworking, quick witted, caring and contemplative. Among his interests were meteorology and astronomy. He enjoyed spending time with family, being outdoors, playing the guitar, singing, camping, hiking, fishing and writing. Stephen is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Colleen (Seeds) Beller and their daughter, Lara (Beller) Tobias of Henderson, NV and son, Aaron Beller of Prescott, AZ. Stephen is further survived by his sister, Karen (Beller) Mayfield of Azle, TX; sister-in-law, Kathleen (Seeds) Mezeske of Prescott, AZ; nephews, Vernon Leland “Lee” Mayfield, Steven Mayfield, Cody Mayfield of Azle, TX, Evan Mezeske of Mountain View, CA; niece, Andrea Mezeske of Salem, OR.
