Stephanie Elizabeth Leiva, 37, a former longtime resident of West New York, NJ, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2025 in Morristown, NJ.

She was born on November 29, 1987 in North Bergen, NJ.

Stephanie is survived by her mother and lifelong, devoted advocate, Arelis Leiva. She also leaves behind her sisters and brothers-in-law, Lucy and Raul Martinez of Union City, Aimee and Jordy Estrada of Guttenberg, Consuelo Melissa Leiva of Morristown as well as nephews Alejandro Jeremy Mendez III, Xavier Ramon Ventura III, and Ryan Salvador Gonzalez.

She is preceded by her indisputable favorite sibling and only brother, Sergeant Cristian Salvador Gonzalez, US Army and her father, Roger Leiva.

Stephanie was a 2007 graduate of the Learning Center for Exceptional Children in Clifton, NJ. She was also a longtime member of the Monte de Oracion church in Union City, NJ. Stephanie enjoyed long walks, shopping, trying new foods, but most of all, was a lifelong lover of animals.

Visitation will be held on February 17, 2025 from 4:00-8:00PM at Leber Funeral Home located on 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus NJ 07094.

Funeral services will be held on February 18, 2025 at 11:00AM at Leber Funeral Home and will be followed by interment at Fairview Cemetery.
