Stephanie was one of my roommates our sophomore year in college and we remained friends throughout college. We lost touch after but she visited me once when she was bicycling on the coast near Half Moon Bay back in the 1990s. We had many adventures in college and I can still hear her voice and laughter.

I had no idea we lost this beautiful soul this year. Stephanie and I met just before we started college at UC Davis. We met during the "summer advising" session. We became fast friends and did many fun events while in college and even  after. She was always the bright light in the room making everyone smile and feel welcome.  When I moved out of state, we kept in touch and every time I was back in California we got together.  Felt like coming home each time we got together. You are sorely missed my friend. So glad we were able to go to church together at Twin Cities before we moved. I know you are sitting at the right hand of Jesus smiling down at all of us. I miss you and love you.
I just re-read the last birthday card Stephanie sent me. It was so like her, full of the love, sparkle, kindness and thoughtfulness that was Stephanie herself. To think of the monumental loss of her passing is truly heartbreaking. At moments like this, I try to remember that each of us who were privileged to know her, carry a bit of Stephanie’s generosity of spirit with us.

I just found out that Stephanie passed, I am so sad, I was getting ready to make an appointment with her. She has been my doctor for years and she was so loving and interacting and caring. I felt like she was a close friend. I'm going to miss her.
Dr. Kirschbaum was such and beautiful human and cared deeply for others.  Truly missed.
Hard news to hear and so sorry for the family. I grew up with Steph since kindergarten. Take care...

I met Steph first as a banker and then realized we both loved Paula Poundstone which started our friendship.

I volunteered at California Careforce and it made my heart so happy that she did too! She continues to inspire me.

It is heartbreaking to say goodbye to Steph.   She left us far too soon. I will miss her optimism, her deep kindness and sharing our love of Steve Martin's wacky humor.  She brought warmth and love  to everything she touched.  May the memory of her joyful spirit continue to light our way.

I was so sorry to hear of Stephanie’s sudden passing. I met her through clogging with her son, Silas. She would be at every performance cheering us all on. It was so reassuring to see Stephanie’s big smile  and hearing her “woohoo’s” in the crowd . Through the years I became very fond of Stephanie. We shared a love for stand up comedy and whenever we saw each other we would recommended a certain comedian to check out. I always enjoyed Stephanie’s energy and her electrifying personality.

Comfort and love to the family!

Steph was always cheerful, gracious and kind. Such an amazing woman! The world lost its brightest light when she departed.
She was so warm and generous with her time. When she asked how you were, she really wanted to know and cared about the answer. Her love of art and community was a blessing for us all. I will miss seeing her and send heartfelt condolences to her children,
Miss her spirit, laugh and smile.  We've donated to the ASPCA in her name.
