Stella's obituary

Stella Laverne Terry, born on March 10, 1967, in Florida, peacefully passed away, surrounded by her family, on September 6, 2025, in Albany, Georgia.  Stella's infectious smile and loving nature left a lasting mark on the hearts of all who knew her. She carried this energy throughout her life, touching countless lives with her kindness and joy.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Lottie Bell; father, Bruce Moore; and brother, Rick Moore. Stella's memory will be cherished and kept alive by her loving children: Misti Willard, her husband Christopher, and their three children—Myles, Allyssa, and Preston; Travis Terry, his wife Lauren, and their son Waylon; and Kendalle Whistin, and her husband Calvin Whistin Jr. She is also survived by her sister, Tonya Mullan and her husband Jimmy; her brother, Eric Moore; her step-brother, Dennis Bell; and her step-father, James Bell, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins who were all dear to her heart.

Stella's greatest achievement and pride were undoubtedly her three children, Misti, Travis, and Kendalle. She guided them with love, instilling in them the values of kindness, perseverance, and the importance of family. Her guidance was a compass that helped shape their lives, and her influence will continue to guide them.

Her passion for life extended to her love for sports. Stella was an enthusiastic supporter of the Dallas Cowboys, Florida Gators, and Atlanta Braves. She found great joy in attending various sporting events, especially when it involved softball, baseball, and football. These moments were not just about the sport for Stella, but about the friendship and community she found while cheering on her teams.

Stella's love for social gatherings was well-known among her friends. She was the life of the party, always ready to share a drink, a laugh, and a good time. Her presence was a comfort and a delight, making every gathering brighter and every moment more memorable.

As we say goodbye to Stella, we celebrate the extraordinary life she led and the countless ways she enriched our lives. Her spirit, characterized by her unfailing kindness and boundless love, will forever be remembered and missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Stella's journey through life was a beautiful demonstration of how to live fully and love deeply, and her memory will continue to inspire those she left behind.

Stella's memorial will be held at Greenleaf River of Life Church of God on Friday, September 26th at 5:00pm.
