To the family and friends of dear Uncle Dicky (Steadman), I extend sincere condolences may you find strength and comfort in each other at this difficult time.

It was such a sad day hearing the news of his death. I may of only met him in person once but he made an unforgettable impact. Neither did I get to visit him in the USA but he was always a part of our conversation, especially when reflecting with mum.

I first met Uncle Dicky on a family trip to Jamaica. He was a tall, dark and handsome man, strongly built with a kind and caring nature. I was a young girl aged approximately 14 years old. We stayed at Uncle's house with his family where I met Aunt Essie, cousin's Michahail (& Audrey), Martin, Kenneth, Juliet and Jeweleen. On this vacation I developed a very bad reaction to the many mosquito bites on my legs. The bites seemed to merge and became swollen and inflamed. Uncle was instrumental in preparing a solution and administering it so that I could be relieved of the discomfort until I could be seen by a doctor.  I  felt safe and protected by his actions which were kind and considerate.

My mother has shared many stories of how he was truly a great brother, friend and companion. She is currently writing a book of their childhood exploits and more which we look forward to reading.

Uncle, you will be deeply missed but we will forever remember you with fondness and treasure the times we had you in our company.

Thank you for my cousins especially Michahail who is like a big brother to me. Your legacy will live on through your family & the lives you impacted with your loving heart.

Sleep in peace 🙏

My dearest Uncle Steadman you shall be greatly missed by the Skinner family. My mother your sister Eulalee Skinner always spoke fondly of how you played when you were children in Jamaica growing up.

You were Mum’s champion and protected her at school against bullies and people who wanted to take away things from her.

Thank you for being a part of Mum’s 80th birthday celebrations you and Alma your lovely wife shared a special greeting for mum which she deeply appreciated.

Our loving Uncle steadman you shall be greatly missed, our deepest condolences to your lovely immediate and extended family

Blessings to the Skinner family.  I prayed that God will give you strength and comfort throughout this ordeal.                       A loving and caring father who always provides for his family and others.  He was considerate, accommodating and a disciplinarian who treated us well.  A kind hearted farmer who gave us cows milk 🥛 and other prduce from  his  farm in Temby.                                                                              Boxing may have been his favorite sport because whenever he was watching the game,  he literally throw  punches 👊  so you don't want to be close to him during that period.                                                        Gone before us to his MAKER but he will never be forgotten. Master Dick may your soul rest in peace 🙏.                                               Nuff Love ❤️ To You All.
