Sending all my love to my cousins and the extended Heath Family. What a gentleman, scholar and one of a kind. I stayed with Stan and Amie in 2022 on an visit and the moment I met Stan I felt as though I’d known him my entire life. Fit in stories of our lives and fit in tours of American history sites. What a treasured memory. I will be home in Arizona and unable to attend the service, but will been thinking of you all as I have been these past two years, especially the immortal soul of Stan the Man.

Amy, what an privilege to have Stan honored in this way. As I mentioned to you when Stan passed, though I’d only meet him on a few occasions both Greg and I really liked him. He was just such a nice guy. Learning later how accomplished he was we felt proud to have met him. My grandson Graham left just two weeks ago for Annapolis, entering the Naval Academy’s class of 2028. Serving this amazing country is without a doubt the greatest honor

Thank you for extending the invitation to Stan’s burial service. It’ll be a honor to attend. What a long time you’ve waited for this day. Stan will be placed in the ultimate place of honor - Arlington National Cemetery. It’s the perfect place for such an incredible man. Sending love to the whole family as you prepare for this day.

Friend of Stan and Amie since Artillery Officer Basic Course at Ft. Sill in 1984. He showed awesome planning skills early when he planned an epic bachelor party for me at Ft Sill. Most sincere condolences and love to Amie and family.

Sorry I couldn’t make the service today. I really wanted to attend but unfortunately couldn’t. Stan was a great man and professional colleague. He valued partnership and loved his country, his family, and the world around him.
Though I worked in communications for another govt agency, it felt like Stan was a direct co-worker sitting right bedside me for as often as I interacted with him and as much as I liked and respected him.
He was one of the good ones. May God bless his family during these difficult times.

Stan and I my last day in OPA

Stan was one of the best I’ve ever worked with. From my first day in the office to my last, he was kind. He taught me everything I needed to know about Incident Communication. Stan even went as far as helping me write papers while in school. I remember he would show me pictures of everything he built. We would also talk about him running marathons. He will be missed by many because of who he was. A kind soul always willing to help.

Stan was one of the first classmates I met on July 1, 1980, R-Day (Reception Day) at West Point as we reported in for Cadet Basic Training, aka, Beast Barracks.
By pure randomness or an algorithm of the early computers, eleven (11) of us were assigned to 1st Squad, 1st Platoon, 5th Company. We persevered over the ensuing six (6) weeks and learned teamwork and on how to be cadets, whether it was through doing bad "dress offs," passable shining of our boots and shoes, at the range, or via road marches or doing drills.
Stan's passing pains us all, none more so than for Stan's bride Amie, children Lauren and Jordan, his parents and his brother. Undoubtedly, fellow Beast squad mates John Clark and Toby Greene were at the pearly gates to embrace Stan. Grip hands...

We are saddened and heart broken to hear about one of our favorite people passing. Stan was always very pleasant and a joy when in our clinic. We will miss his stories about his family, which he loved dearly, and his awesome smile. One of our nurses, that is from Hawaii, was extremely excited to hear about his children's book he published. Thank you Aimee for submitting it!! We thoroughly enjoyed his visits. Our thoughts and prayers to his family, Aimee, Lauren, and Jordan. We will miss him tremendously.
