It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Stanley Cooper, who left us on August 18, 2020. Born in 1947, Stanley lived a full and colorful life, leaving behind cherished memories and lasting impressions on those fortunate enough to have known him.
Stanley is survived by his loving family, including his son, Alonzo Burge, and his daughter, Stacey Cooper. His memory will be lovingly carried on by his granddaughters, Alondraya and Aniyah Bynum, who held a special place in his heart as his "grand girls." Stanley was preceded in death by his mother, Beatrice Easton, and father, Moses Cooper.
A devoted attendee of New Birth Church of Christ, Stanley's faith was a cornerstone in his life. He found solace in his beliefs, the fellowship of his church community, and the unwavering guidance of the Lord.
Stanley's zest for life was evident in his many interests and hobbies. He enjoyed the simple pleasure of an ice cold Pepsi, the powerful storytelling of his favorite movie, The Color Purple, and the tranquility he found while fishing. Atlanta, Georgia held a special place in his heart as a favorite vacation spot, and he held great affection for the color blue.
Stanley Cooper will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the fortune of knowing him. His lasting impact on those around him serves as a testament to the life he lived and the love he shared. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the beauty and grace of the heavenly skies above.
