Stacie's obituary

Peru, NY.

Stacie Lynne Corcoran-Collins, age 40, passed away at CVPH in Plattsburgh, NY on November 19th, 2023. Stacie was born in Abington, PA to Beverly Corcoran and Fredrick Corcoran on Feb 1, 1983. She attended school in St.Regis Falls, NY and was known as the life of the party with a magnetic personality in her youth.

Stacie leaves behind her 5 children, husband, and the fathers of her two eldest children. She is pre-deceased by her parents.

Stacie was a loving mom, homemaker, caretaker, animal lover, and a consumer of thrashing loud music. She sadly died young due to medical complications after a lifelong battle with type 1 diabetes. We are so disappointed she won’t be around to see her beautiful children grow up. These last three years have been particularly difficult for the entire family, but the children are in loving homes with their fathers and grandparents. We hope Stacie is at peace. We hope you’ll hug your loved ones a little tighter, and enjoy every moment together, we never know how short the ride can be.

We would like to thank the CVPH ICU care team, and the CDT organ donation team for their efforts, kindness and support during this extremely hard time. We hope Stacie lives on through her organ donations to help others even in her untimely death.

Services will be private. In-leu of flowers, please donate to the Focus on Feral’s, Inc.
