In loving memory of our mother, Stacey Colleen Hughes, who passed away on April 25, 2022 at the age of 56 in her apartment in Marysville, CA. Colleen will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Our mother was passionate, a hard worker, and caring. She was devoted to helping those who were truly in need and worked hard to make a difference in the community. Colleen would often put the needs of others who were struggling before her own, especially for those experiencing homelessness. She was a strong woman who faced every challenge in life with courage and would never let failures stop her from moving forward. Our mother was a source of inspiration to those who knew her well and she will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched. 

Colleen was predeceased by her mother, Diane. She is survived by her three children, Tina, Alan, and Dena, her son-in-laws, Hector and Giovanni, her stepfather, Frank, her siblings, Frankie and Janean, and her three grandchildren, Kylee, Chance, and Amaya.

Her Journey’s Just Begun

Don’t think of her as gone away, her journey’s just begun,

Life holds so many facets, this earth is only one.

Just think of her as resting, from the sorrows and the tears,

In a place of warmth and comfort, where there are no days or years.

Think how she must be wishing, that we could know today,

How nothing but our sadness, can really pass away.

And think of her as living, in the hearts of those she touched,

For nothing loved is ever lost, and she was loved so much.

Mother, you will always be in our hearts and we will never forget you. We love you so much. Rest In Peace.
