Sr. Anna Heaney passed peacefully August 23, 2024 at age 93.
Sr. Anna was born to Lawrence and Catherine Heaney on February 09, 1931 in Philadelphia. At a young age she felt she had a vocation and took her vows in Angiers in 1948. She trained as a nun and spent many years working in the inner city of Paris. She subsequently completed training as a teacher and returned to the United States, settled in …
