The world has lost a thoughtful, kind and loving soul. Spencer was a great friend, a loving son and a person wise beyond his physical years. 

One side of Spencer entailed his deep love for animals, his constant need of climbing things (!!) and his funny, typical guy jokes, that always made us laugh. 

But another side of spencer, which was personally my favorite side, entailed his seemingly never ending curiosity; shown through his love of research and mental exploration. His kind heart and open mind; shown through his acceptance of both the people and situations he was surrounded with. And lastly, his ability to be a friend; a true friend. That one was shown through his actions, words, and being; that one is just who Spencer was.

Spencer and I always shared a special connection and understanding of each other- an unlikely friendship that I think surprised us both. But a friendship I cherished deeply, and will continue to cherish for the rest of my life. 

This is a deep loss for anyone who knew him, just as much as it is for those who didn’t get the chance to yet. 

I love you Spencer, I miss you, and I will never forget you or the impact you made on my life. 

My thoughts are with you Hunter, Brooklyn & Madysen and the rest of your family. I am so deeply sorry for this incredible loss.
